Last month, Rugby League Cares visited William Hulme's Grammar School to run an engaging workshop with our KS3 students. The session focused on the benefits of exercise and promoting mental fitness, aligning with Rugby League Cares' core values of community support, wellbeing, and shared experiences.
Rugby League Cares is dedicated to enhancing and enriching lives through the power and positive influence of rugby league. Their mission includes providing crucial support to players transitioning out of their playing careers, promoting mental fitness, and delivering health and wellbeing programmes. By incorporating these values, the workshop aimed to inspire students to lead healthier, more active lives while fostering a sense of community and resilience.
The workshop was a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn from experienced professionals and understand the importance of physical and mental wellbeing. We are grateful to Rugby League Cares for their commitment to supporting our community and helping our students thrive.
