Our KS4 Indoor Cricket team played The Dean Trust on Tuesday. The game, as always, was frenetic with the ball flying around all over the place. Everyone had their turn to bat and bowl.
The Dean Trust batted first and amassed 61 runs in their ten overs, but their net score was 34 (you lose three runs for every wicket, losing nine wickets in total).
We batted second and, going into the penultimate over, the scores were tied at 34 a piece. Ismaeel then scored 16 off that over, effectively winning the game for WHGS.
Congratulations to Rehan, Ismaeel, Yaseen, Edris, Mo, Awais, Oliver, Zayyan and Ali. They all put in a lot of effort and fanatsic performances.
