Our Primary Phase Rights Respecting Ambassadors recently organised and led a successful foodbank donation initiative to support those in need within our community. Thanks to the generosity of our school families, we were able to donate enough food to provide 350 meals!
Throughout the project, our Ambassadors worked hard to raise awareness of the importance of supporting local foodbanks. After the donations came in, the children had the opportunity to visit the foodbank where they helped weigh, sort and date the items, preparing them for distribution to families in need.
Thank you to Manchester South Central Foodbank for having us and explaining why food banks are so important.
A huge thank you to all of our parents for their incredible support and contributions. Together, we are making a real difference in the community.
Don't forget that families can access our school foodbank by visiting the Secondary Phase reception, where the team will provide you with a bag of groceries. We are here to help.
