Year 1 and Year 2 were very excited to engage in a Social Action Project to support refugee children in our local community. All pupils generously donated gifts for refugee children living in local accommodation in Manchester, who were celebrating Eid ul Adha.

We were grateful for the high quality gifts we received and for the generosity of our families. Our pupils gift wrapped the presents, created tags and made Eid cards for the refugee children. The gifts were then donated to Cheadle Masjid (mosque) who distributed the gifts to the refugee children on Eid ul Adha.

We want to thank all families and pupils for their kindness, compassion and care, and support towards the refugee children. Together, we have all truly honoured the courage and resilience of millions of young children who have been forced to flee their homes and find safety.

Kindness really is contagious!
