On Thursday 1 February, our Year 10 boys played Parrs Wood in the Quarter Finals of the Manchester Schools Cup at Platt Lane Complex, Fallowfield.
In an extremely tight match, Parrs Wood ran out winners with a final score of 2-1. Both teams were very evenly matched and the game played in a fantastic spirit (but with a real competitive edge). All the boys put in a great performance, but special mention to Alhussein, who's pace got us out of numerous tricky situations, and Yaqoub, who was all over the pitch looking for the equaliser that never came.
Well done to them all.
