On Thursday 6 June, our Y12 students attended a lecture by renowned historian, Professor David Olusoga, entitled 'Making History in the Age of Black Lives Matter.' This lecture was hosted by the University of Manchester as part of their Bicentenary Celebrations in 2024.
Students also heard from the University of Manchester's History Department, and a second-year student on the importance of studying History in modern Britain.
In the afternoon students took part in a creative workshop, making political magazines.
