During the week commencing 14 November, our Year 13 Geographers went on their residential fieldtrip to Betws-y-Coed in Snowdonia. They spent the week looking at fieldwork techniques in a huge range of environments; from looking at carbon sequestration in woodlands, to infiltration rates in different areas, even looking at how perception of place can change in Llandudno, and investigating the incredible post-glacial scenery in the Nant Ffrancon and Ogdon valleys.
The students were a credit to themselves and the school throughout the week, culminating in excellent collaboration to collect data for their own individual NEA investigations.
A big thank you to the students themselves and the FSC Rhyd-y-Creuau who supported them throughout the week.
