After months of rehearsals, on Wednesday 17 July, Year 6 finally performed their end of year production, The Jungle Book, the story of a boy who goes on a great adventure through the jungle to defeat the tiger Shere Khan. The audience loved seeing the children, ably assisted by the Year 5 choir, acting, singing and dancing with great ambition to well-known songs such as The Bare Necessities and I Wanna Be Like You.

The performance was a special moment for many reasons, as it was an opportunity for family and friends to all come together to celebrate the Year 6's hard work, but also as it marks the end of our Year 6's time at the Primary Phase.

Pupils displayed an abundance of determination and a 'never give up' attitude to ensure that the whole production was as good as it could be, with pupils impressing in roles as Baloo, Bagheera, Shere Khan, Mowgli and many more.

I am sure you will agree - what an evening!
