Our Year 4 pupils enjoyed an educational visit to the Gita Bhavan Hindu Temple in Manchester, as part of their Religious Education learning about the Hindu faith. The children showed incredible respect throughout the trip, engaging enthusiastically with the temple's serene atmosphere and beautiful, ornate decorations.
The children explored the temple and discovered various religious items through a 'scavenger hunt' activity. At the end of the visit, the children were kindly allowed to take a piece of fruit home as a gesture from the temple.
A big thank you to the Gita Bhavan Temple for allowing us to visit, and to the parent helpers who made the trip possible. It was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to experience first-hand what they have been learning in the classroom.
