This week, Year 5 had an incredible opportunity to experience a night away from their families in Yorkshire. Immersed in the surrounding woodland, the children stayed in safari style bell tents and took part in a range of activities to learn about life in the great outdoors.
They developed their personal skills of teamwork and resilience through activities such as fire building, cooking, shelter building and camouflage and concealment.
There was even a night of entertainment with 'Bushcraft's Got Talent' which demonstrated the incredible confidence of each child as they took to the stage to perform.
The teachers are so proud of each child for stepping out of their comfort zones and having a go at every part of the trip with enthusiasm!
