On Tuesday 28 November, the Food & Nutrition Department held the Year 9 Masterchef Competition. We had pupils representing all the Houses making some very tasty dishes.
There were some particularly high skilled sweet dishes made and although they weren't winning dishes Fathia Ali with her Jelly Fruit Cheesecake and Leah Orr with her Stacked Sponge Cake were both given special mentions by Mr Copestake (Head of School) for their skill and presentation when he was announcing the winners.
Well done to the winners Jacob Sullivan for his Burger dish and Ilwad Bashe for her Cookie dough pie (which was delicious and a favourite with the judges!)
