Allegations Against Staff

If you suspect or become aware of an allegation of child abuse made against a member of school staff or a volunteer, contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead or the Principal directly or, in the Principal’s absence, United Learning Safeguarding Lead and the Chair of the LGB. The school will not undertake its own investigations of allegations without prior consultation with the LADO (see below).

Wider Pastoral Team - Safeguarding and Attendance Support

The Director of Safeguarding (Mrs L S Likissa), Miss F S Mulvihill (Safeguarding Officer), the Attendance Officer (Mr A Hughes) and Attendance Mentor (Ms D Edwards) support the work of the Pastoral Team by ensuring students are kept safe and attend school, working closely with the Directors of Pastoral Care and Heads of Year.


Wider Pastoral Team - Student Support (Impact Centre)

The Impact Centre Manager (Ms S Bhaimohmed) and a team of Learning Mentors provide bespoke programmes to support the academic, pastoral and welfare needs of students. The Centre offers short and long-term placements on-site to help students remove barriers to learning.


External Partners

The work of the Pastoral Team is further supported by the Careers Advisor, Ms Pollen, providing one-to-one and small groups information, advice and guidance on post-16 pathways.
