To help you prepare effectively for your A-Levels, each subject in the Sixth Form has constructed a transition course that you can follow in the lead-up to September. The courses have been designed to kickstart your learning with a range of resources and tasks that cover key aspects of study in Year 12. The reading and tasks that you complete will form the basis of your teaching and learning in the first weeks of your A-Level study. We hope you find the courses stimulating and that they enable you to make a flying start when you join us in September.
There is a dedicated team of staff here to help Year 11 students with any questions or issues they may have with post-16 pathways. The team is led by Mr Kathrada (Assistant Principal - KS4) and he is supported by Mr M R Hughes (Director of Pastoral Care - Y11), Ms Ali (Head of Year 11) and Ms Bhaimohmed (Assistant Head of Year 11)
Calling all Year 10 and 11 students The Manchester College are here to support you every step of the way. If you need to contact a member of the Schools Team for advice on courses, support with applications or your next steps.
